History in the Making.

The Reason for Our Creation

In today's world, social media is ubiquitous. While some people share their lives publicly for all to see, others choose to restrict their accounts to 'Private' settings or create fake profiles for close contacts. This can make it challenging to develop a social media presence while safeguarding one’s privacy and preventing unwanted direct messages.

There are critical reasons to keep an open-source social media platform 'private.' We have all heard of the tragic consequences that can arise from online abuse, which can affect anyone, including children. Incidents of trolling and harassment can lead to severe distress and, in extreme cases, tragic outcomes such as suicide or worse, all of which can deeply impact an individual's mental health and well-being.

Recognizing this growing concern, particularly among youth, our founder sought to create a safe space where individuals could promote their lives freely without the fear of being targeted by trolls or bots, which can also extend threats to their friends and family. This vision led to the birth of The Haurun Club. It allows members to maintain their individuality while also fostering common interests, allowing communities to thrive and develop relationships based on shared ideals.

Our founder is well-connected, having established himself as a broker to the world’s elite in the City of London since 2015, earning the title of 'The Most Trusted Man in England' from Sir Desmond de Silva QC. This recognition came as a result of his efforts to protect the interests of international individuals looking to connect and, historically, to safeguard the British Royal Family from embarrassment—an accolade highlighted by a respected barrister married to a member of the British Royal Family.

During his journey, our founder obtained memberships (mostly complimentary) to various prestigious private members' clubs in London, such as Home House, The London Capital Club (formerly the Gresham Club), M Restaurants, Mortons, South Kensington Club, and The Devonshire Club, among others.

He observed that members often left for different clubs, taking their contacts with them. To address this issue, our founder developed a strategy that allowed clubs to retain members, saving some from losing between 80 to 120 members per month. This initiative earned him thanks and further expanded his trusted network in the entrepreneurial landscape of London.

Discovering trust through a understanding of distrust can be surprisingly reassuring.

Our founder also witnessed a significant contract between the president of a well-known London private members' club (a Lord) and a leading entrepreneur in the City of London for the sale of company shares. The deal involved the purchase of shares from a relatively new startup, with a staggering £103 million guaranteed by the Lord and a notable Scottish entrepreneur for only a 10% share in the company.

At the same time, our founder was approached by someone claiming to be a member of the Rockefeller family who wanted to connect and explore business interests. Prioritising his due diligence, our founder requested identification, specifically a passport. The individual laughed off this request and later sent a U.S. Ambassadorial passport. However, our founder remained skeptical and conducted further investigation, leading to the discovery that this "Mr. Rockefeller" was a fraud. He had misspelled Coutts Bank, founding a company with the same misspelling in Chelmsford, Essex. While Chelmsford is a fine place, it isn't recognized as the headquarters of a prominent family bank—this misspelling was a significant red flag that could not be overlooked.

At the same time as the events described above, our founder received an email from a member of the British Royal Family who was invited to trade 'off-market oil' with a senior accountant associated with a Middle Eastern royal family. Our founder was contacted to arrange meetings in Mayfair and conduct the necessary due diligence. The first part was relatively straightforward; unless the market and rules surrounding oil trading had changed (and they hadn't), there were no 'off-market oil' deals available, especially not in this context.

Our founder attended a meeting at the Cavalry and Guards Club at 127 Piccadilly London with the referred HRH, where he was introduced to the Chairman of the All American Oil and Gas Company; a Texan oil magnate who was on the board of most, if not all, major oil corporations and also interested in the deal.

Establishing trust and cultivating a reliable community is not just possible; it is assured.

Our founder quickly realised that the proposed ongoing deal for three million barrels of oil per month was not legitimate, thus protecting HRH from becoming involved in the transaction. This decision upset many influential individuals and had far-reaching effects. Nonetheless, our founder remained committed to protecting his contacts without compromising trust and respect. It is through his adherence to discretion and genuine business practices that he was awarded the aforementioned monocle.

Of course, there were many other 'good deals' at that time, shortly after which, the Covid-19 pandemic hit. Our founder noted the decline of the Private Members Club community, the restrictions on movement, and the overall mental health issues that impacted the world. At this point, our founder decided to further develop his previous idea and create The Haurun Club (as it is known today). He began as a sole trader under the name T/A Haurun, with headquarters at 35 Berkeley Square, Mayfair, W1. The name "Haurun" holds specific meaning for our founder, his beliefs, rites and the associated them into House of Haurun.

He outlined the needs, motivations, and business model for The Haurun Club. While there have been many developments since its inception, he incorporated a limited company named The Haurun Club Ltd in 2023.

A partnership was formed with a French-based tech company before the initial trials and developments were fully understood, shaping the future of The Haurun Club as we see it today.

Our founder discovered that, while The Haurun Club focuses on wealthy and well-connected individuals, there were also influencers and brand ambassadors who wanted to join but did not meet the wealth threshold. In response, he created a reciprocal club aligned with the principles of historic Private Members Clubs. In 2025, he initiated The Brand Ambassador Club, which serves as a mirror community for influencers and brand ambassadors.

Luxury brands associated with The Haurun Club (referred to as Affiliate Members) have the opportunity to showcase their products within The Haurun Club app for both The Haurun Club Members and The Brand Ambassador Club Members. These brands can also invite members of The Brand Ambassador Club to collaborate and promote their products under separate arrangements (Assignment). The Brand Ambassadors Club now, also functions as an agency, facilitating connections among brand ambassadors in a private setting. Meanwhile, members of The Haurun Club interact separately within their own community.

A significant early-stage development of The Brand Ambassadors Club is the initiative for members to engage with communities by giving talks and mentoring at schools and educational organisations about the realities and experiences of social media. It is important to protect the very foundations of our society.

The Haurun Club app is currently being developed to include, extensive 'white label' communities for schools, colleges, and universities. This will allow members to engage in a trusted place, exclusively for them. Where healthy social media activities while also extending their interests across all of The Haurun Club's communities and clubs, which they can also trust. Additionally, there is the challenge of earning 'The Ultimate Ambassador' distinction, a highly coveted Badge of Honour for members to aspire to, with attractive prizes. This is available to Members of both, The Haurun Club and The Brand Ambassadors Club.

"For equality to thrive, there must be a balance, as no single culture or creed can exist in isolation."

(Founder of The Haurun Club)

Ignoring our founder's advice may or many not have contributed to the unfortunate decline of Allbright, although there are many other factors influencing its closure and second attempt at dissolution [2025].

With a proven track record of developing the private members club community and initiating a new standard for these clubs, our founder has garnered interest from nearly as many women as men—40% of our members are female. This balance is essential to us, as our aim is to achieve an ideal 50-50 ratio of male and female members. We are confident that we will reach this target soon.

As private members' clubs close and social media usage increases, concerns about safety—particularly for women—are becoming more prominent. Allbright being one example and another, is the temporary closure of The Groucho Club in Soho, "...which is undergoing a licensing review prompted by the Metropolitan Police due to allegations of a "serious crime." While the outcome of this investigation is still pending, it serves as a warning about the potential risks of abuse and attacks that women may face in social settings.

At our clubs, all members are thoroughly vetted, and the revocation of membership in cases of abuse, verbal and or otherwise is a key clause of our membership agreement. This greatly reduces, if not entirely eliminates, the risks posed to women and men. This commitment to safety is one of our proudest achievements, and we will continue to develop and reinforce these measures for our members.

The Haurun Club presents compelling reasons for women to join, along with a variety of additional benefits. For more information, please read here.

Promoting balance within our community is vital for several reasons, including those mentioned above. Another appealing aspect of membership is access to our House of Haurun. This exclusive boutique not only enhances the positive experience for our members but also generates excitement, capturing the attention of both men and ever more women.

These are some of the fundamental reasons our founder created and further develops The Haurun Club.
